Disney Princess Panorama

Brand:
Clementoni

Pieces: 1000
Size: 98cm x 33cm

Product Code: 39444

I've been going through my puzzles lately and pulling out all the ones that have unusual packaging or dimensions. I kind of want to get them done so that the rest of my puzzle boxes are more uniform, but I know that will never happen!

One of the puzzles in that pile was this one. The box is long and rectangular, as is the actual puzzle! But I absolutely loved it regardless. I enjoy doing Disney puzzles, especially of the princesses, and this one featured a great range of characters so that improved the experience immensely. The pieces fit together perfectly and the colours were vibrant and bright. I have a few other puzzles from Clementoni in a similar style so I might try and do them soon.

I also have a lot of puzzles in tube-style packaging which I would like to do soon too.

Have you got any puzzles in your to-do list that have similar criteria to mine at the moment?

Disney Pix Collection: Princess Selfies

Brand: Jumbo

Pieces: 1000
Size: 68cm x 49cm

Product Code: 19763

My little daughter has just turned one and a half, and we've been watching a lot of sing-a-long versions of Disney songs on Youtube. She absolutely loves some of them, and so I thought I'd put this puzzle up for her, as it features a few of her favourites.

I purchased this puzzle from a UK website and loved it. I've only done a few Jumbo-branded puzzles but they've all been high quality. The pieces fit together perfectly and the design is lovely.

I have several more puzzles from this brand in my collection (including a few fantasy-inspired ones) and I'm looking forward to doing them at some point!

Disney Mad Tea Cup

Brand:
 King International

Pieces: 1000
Size: 48cm x 67cm
Product Code:  05125

Time for another Disney one!

As you probably know, I love my Disney puzzles and I have done a lot of them over the years. The above puzzle is one that I found on a UK website- we can't normally get King International puzzles here and I think this was the first one I had ever done from the brand.

The pieces were so nice to touch! Haha that sounds weird I know, but they had an almost velvety feel. Lovely! And as you can see, the design is pretty good too!

Speaking of Disney puzzles, have you seen all of the Ravensburger Villainous series puzzles? I have already got all of them but have yet to start any. I really should begin soon cos there are many to get through in the series. Ravensburger have also released a few other Disney ones- one of Belle, one of Snow White, and an awesome Art Noveau-style Princess one- which I also have in my to-do pile.

So many puzzles, so little time!!

Elsa (Disney's Frozen)

Brand: Yanoman

Pieces: 70
Size: 10cm x 14.7cm
Product Code:  97-69

I have decided to extend on last week's post and put up the above puzzle today. Last week I mentioned my love for musicals and explained that Frozen: The Musical would be coming to Melbourne in Winter.

Having said that, I thought I would put up this small postcard-sized puzzle that I purchased from the Japanese brand Yanoman.

This puzzle was one of a series which also included Elsa's sister Anna, Rapunzel (from Tangled) and Cinderella. I'm not sure if there were other Disney princesses but those were the ones that I saw available at the time. These puzzles, as I mentioned, are postcard sized when completed, and the pieces are made from a thin, partially see-through plastic which click together nicely.

I thought the illustrations of the princesses were quite pretty, and that was my main drawcard towards buying them. The style of the puzzle pieces was also a motivator- you don't often come across puzzle pieces that aren't made of cardboard or wood.

Like all the Japanese brands I have come across, the quality of this puzzle was perfect. If only they were more readily available!

Princess Christmas Celebrations (Disney)

Brand: Ravensburger
Pieces: 500
Size: 49cm x 36cm
Product Code: 147786

Well it's the last Saturday before Christmas and so here is the last Christmas puzzle I have on offer for the time being- Princess Christmas Celebrations! Of course I had to finish on a high and include a beloved Disney design :)

This one features the main Disney princesses (and all the woodland animals that seem to favour them) in a wintery Christmas scene. The quality was perfect as usual and the design was appealing to anyone who loves the characters involved.

My next post will be put up in that weird holiday space between Christmas and New Year so I'll see you then for the final post of 2019! In the meantime, have a Merry and Safe Christmas!

Disney Tangled Rapunzel

Brand: Yanoman
Pieces: 70
Size: 10cm x 14.7cm
Product Code: 97-71

One of my best friends dabbles in theatre when she's not working her normal 9-5 job, and she is absolutely amazing! Each year, she performs in a production by a small local theatre company Medimime- which is made up of Barwon Health staff members and their families- and they perform a fun pantomime to raise money for Barwon Health and various wards of the Geelong Hospital.

This year's panto will be Rapunzel, and Kate will get to don her evil garb and play the bad guy once again, so I thought it would be fitting to put up a pic of this puzzle I completed of Disney's version of Rapunzel- Tangled. This small puzzle is from the exceptional Japanese company Yanoman, and the pieces are made from a thin, partially see-through plastic that clicks together in a very satisfying way! There are several other Disney Princesses in this series, which are illustrated in a similar style. I love these designs- they're so pretty, and the colours are wonderful.

Disney Jasmine

Brand: Yanoman (Prism Art)
Pieces: 70
Size: 10cm x 14.7cm
Product Code: 97-179

It is quite apparent to anyone who has followed me on this blog (and my accompanying Instagram account) that I am a fan of the Disney franchise. I love the films, the characters and all that comes with it- including jigsaw puzzles!

Although I have not yet had the chance to see the new live-action Aladdin film, I have seen loads of references to it on social media, as well as spoken to friends who have seen and loved it.

Because of this, I have decided to put up this small Jasmine puzzle that I purchased while holidaying in Japan a few years ago. The pieces are made of a see-through plastic that 'click' together when you assemble the puzzle. I also bought a couple of other ones, and it was a toss-up about whether I would post this one today or a Frozen-themed puzzle (considering I just saw a trailer for the new film which will be coming out). Maybe Frozen can be for another day...

The quality of this puzzle is amazing and the colours (as you can see) are quite vibrant. Although small (this puzzle is postcard sized), it is definitely a favourite!
