The Flinders Street Station And Cats

Brand:
The Puzzle Colab

Pieces: 99
Size:  10cm x 14cm

Product Code: 25005M

You know how sometimes you're in the mood to puzzle but don't want to commit to a 500 or 1000 piece design?

You just want to do a quick little bite-size puzzle to whet the appetite? Well that is where micro or mini puzzles come in handy. Usually 100 pieces or less, they are quick to put together and take up a very small amount of space.

I bought this puzzle, along with a few others from the same series, just to try out the brand and satisfy that small-puzzle-piece-count urge. The artwork, by Miss Wenly Illustration, is cute and relevant to me (being a significant and iconic landmark of Melbourne) and one that I am incidentally going to be visiting this weekend on my journey into the city. The quality was great, and the puzzle came in a tiny box, no bigger than a pack of playing cards.

If you need that small puzzle fix, you can't go wrong with a mini or micro sized puzzle. The Puzzle Collab, along with Magnolia, Werkshoppe and several others, can help you with that fix...

French Fries

Brand: Typo

Pieces: 200
Size:  30cm x 30cm

Product Code: -

On Tuesday (14th July) it will be Bastille Day - France's national celebration day.

I thought I'd get in slightly earlier and put up a French-themed puzzle to mark the occasion. I've done so many puzzles that fit this theme over the years but surprisingly (or maybe not so surprising when you consider that it's me) I was unable to find as many as I would have liked. So I've put this one up instead.

Fits the theme, is a bit quirky and was a quick and fun one to do. Do you celebrate the national days of different countries? Is it because you have the family background? Or just because any excuse for a celebration is a good excuse? Let me know what you think!

Dog

Brand: Critters Within Puzzle

Pieces: 230
Size:  29cm x 40cm

Product Code: -

My daughter wanted me to put up this puzzle today because she loves dogs and this one was her favourite from the choices that I had.

This puzzle was from Kmart and was part of a set of four. The wooden pieces were quite thick and fit together nicely. It was a little more challenging than expected because of all the colourful pieces and floral design.

Considering the price, this puzzle was pretty good quality and I'm glad I gave it a shot.
