It's the 2026 AFL Grand Final day, and so what better puzzle to put up than a scenic view of the place where it will be played, Melbourne?

The Brisbane Lions and Fremantle Dockers will be battling it out for the Premiership Cup this afternoon. I might have it on in the background, just to keep up with the scores, but I fully intend to make the most of the day stitching and preparing my entries for the upcoming Geelong Show. If I have time, or need a change of scenery, I might whip out a cheeky little puzzle and try and complete that too! haha

Are you an avid footy fan? Will you be watching the game? Who will win? Or do you prefer to spend the day doing other activities?

It's been a big week in the world of Pokemon, with the first drop of the 30th Celebration cards being released on Wednesday. But despite the many Pokemon-themed jigsaw puzzles I have in my collection, I do not have any photos of ones I have recently completed which I could post for the event! I need to get cracking!

Instead, I am putting up this totally unrelated design by Dean MacAdam, featuring characters from the Little Red Riding Hood fairytale. This puzzle has been sitting in my photo folder for quite a while, and although not relevant, is still pretty cool. I have a few of his designs and they always bring a smile to my face with their hidden little details.

Do you have a particular puzzle design artist that you admire and/or collect?

We're back from our Bali holiday, and although I didn't come across any puzzles or puzzle shops, I did have a pretty awesome time away! It would have been lovely to bring one along and do it during the lazy days, but unfortunately puzzling can be a little difficult to do on the go, so instead I had to settle for reading and crossword puzzle books.

I have had a few days at home to 'recover' from my holiday (and pick up a gross cold in the meantime), but that means I've also been able to hit the table and do some more puzzles too.

These days off have also given me the chance to prepare for the upcoming Melton Puzzle Sale that will be held tomorrow (Sunday 13/9). I have to take a few more photos of my puzzles before I break them up but hopefully I'll be able to sell a few...

Right, I better get cracking, but in the meantime, here is a pic of a puzzle I completed recently. I picked up this cutie at Spotlight, along with another featuring food trucks. The colouring books from this series are so popular that as soon as I saw that they have also released a couple of puzzles, I had to get them.

Have you got the colouring books or puzzles from this series in your collection?
