Krypt Gradient

Brand: Ravensburger

Pieces: 631
Size: 70cm x 50cm

Product Code: 168859

A few days ago it was International Color Day and so I thought it would be fitting to put up a photo of a gradient puzzle I completed a while ago.

This is one of the Ravensburger Krypt puzzles- there are quite a few colours in the series but this is the only one I have purchased or attempted to do.

I like the idea of the challenge for solid colours but I think I would get much too frustrated trying to do one. I prefer images to complete rather than that sort of thing. But I was happy to give the gradient one a go, simply because of the colours and the fact that it's probably one of the easiest to do from the collection!

Unfortunately, my photo doesn't do the colours of the puzzle any justice- they're much more vibrant and pretty in real life!

Have you done any of the Krypt puzzles? What did you enjoy about them?

Disney Colour Palette

Brand: Ravensburger

Pieces: 100XXL
Size: 49cm x 36cm

Product Code: 133321

I was in the mood for some Disney today, so what better puzzle than a bright and colourful one that features a multitude of characters?!

As you've probably realised, I don't discriminate when it comes to piece counts in jigsaw puzzles- I'm happy to do smaller count or larger count, as long as I like the image. This was one of the smaller count ones that I came across that is likely aimed at young children, but I couldn't resist the design. It's bright, fun, and cute- all winners in my book!

Not only that, but it was super quick to do and had extremely large pieces so it would be perfect for young children just getting into puzzling.

Do you prefer puzzles that have a smaller amount of pieces or would you rather stick with regular 500/1000 piece count puzzles?

Gradient

Brand: Clementoni

Pieces: 1000
Size: 69cm x 50cm
Product Code:  39521

I have decided that it's finally time to follow the trend and put up a copy of a gradient puzzle that I have done! I did this one quite a few months ago and have been sitting on the picture for a while. I wanted to post it at some point but so many other puzzles won out each time... until now!

This puzzle was not as challenging as I thought it would be. The colours eased into one another quite well, which allowed me to finish it quite quickly. And oh those colours! So pretty and bright!

This one was by Clementoni but I have seen gradient puzzles from a variety of brands and am interested to know if they differ much in difficulty. I might have to suss it out...

Have you done a gradient puzzle and did you find it challenging?

Summer 69 Bunte Converse

Brand: Ravensburger
Pieces: 500
Size: 36cm x 49cm
Product Code:  146512

It feels like summer is coming to an end- the mornings are getting darker, the heat is fading from the day and it's getting darker earlier as each day comes to a close. While I'm no great fan of hotter weather, I will definitely miss the extra daylight hours that come with summer, and the chance to do more things at night before it gets dark.

I have posted the above puzzle simply for it's reference to summer- with it's pretty watercolours and the iconic Converse branded chucks in a lovely hot pink, this puzzle was on my list for a long time before I just decided to buy and do it. I mean, why the hell not?!

It was pretty easy to do and the colours are great- a nice one for when you want to get a quick puzzling fix :)
