Dancing With Colors
Brand: Anatolian
Pieces: 500
Size: 33cm x 48cm
Product Code: 3554
When I first saw this Anatolian puzzle, I fell in love with the image. I haven't done many puzzles from this brand before because they are a little harder to get in Australia- there are only a few stockists that I have been able to find so if I really like a design, I'll get it from them.
The collage-style artwork really stands out for me, and the colours are amazing- a bit hard to capture in a photograph! This puzzle was surprising- some parts came together really quickly while I spent a bit more time on others. But I love the overall image :)

Unicorno: Stellina (Tokidoki)
Brand: Re-Marks
Pieces: 100
Size: 25.4cm x 25.4cm
Product Code: -
I felt like putting up something bright, simple and cute today- and what better than this little gem from Re-Marks?
Tokidoki is a Japanese-inspired lifestyle brand that features a range of cute characters, including the one above. When I first saw this puzzle, I was going through something of a unicorn phase and I couldn't help but purchase it. This square puzzle is aimed at children, with large pieces and a simple colour pallet. In the cube-shaped box, there was also a poster, an adhesive sheet and a hanging tag, for displaying purposes once the puzzle is complete.
This puzzle was quick to do and it's bold colours make it stand out beautifully.

Shadows
Brand: Ravensburger
Pieces: 1000
Size: 70cm x 50cm
Product Code: 198603
On this blog, I try to be as topical as I can- posting photos of puzzles that are relevant to national or world events (if possible at the time).
That's why I'm so annoyed at myself for my lack of foresight today, missing out on a very special event- the 50th anniversary of the Apollo Moon Landing. This was such a significant event in our history, and it's all over the media at the moment. Unfortunately, I have several space-themed puzzles that would have been perfect to commemorate this, but I have not had the chance to do them. So instead I am going to be totally shallow and put up the above make-up palette puzzle Shadows.
The above puzzle was an absolute pleasure to do, and is quite possibly one of my favourites for the year. The colours are incredible and the design very satisfying to complete.
There's a particular event happening next week that I have the perfect puzzle for. I'm hoping I'll find enough time to complete it so that I can put it up, but only time will tell. Life always seems to get in the way!
Fingers crossed, and I'll see you next week!

Let The Sun Shine In
Brand: Anatolian
Pieces: 500
Size: 33cm x 48cm
Product Code: 3599
You know how sometimes a piece of artwork just draws you in? That's what happened to me with this puzzle design...
I'm not sure why it appealed so much, but when I saw the mixed-media style image, it just drew my attention and I had to purchase the puzzle. It could have been the bright and expressive colours, or maybe it was just the multilayered detail, but I really enjoyed doing this one by Anatolian.
This was only my second puzzle from this brand but it didn't disappoint. The pieces fit together nicely and the colours were vibrant. Although Anatolian have fewer distributors within Australia, I'm going to have to get some more from them at some stage!
