Beauty And The Beast Stained Glass
Brand: Tenyo
Pieces: 456
Size: 18.5cm x 55.5cm
Product Code: DSG-456-732
Japanese puzzle brand Tenyo make such beautiful puzzles, and I thought it was about time I put another one up.
This one is part of their stained glass range, where they take multiple characters from a Disney film and recreate a scene to feature them. There are several puzzles available in this style and I love them all- they're just so striking to look at!
I've always been a fan of Beauty and the Beast- I could always relate to Belle and her love of books and reading- so I couldn't resist this one. As usual, the quality was spot on, and although the pieces are smaller than average, this also appeals to me greatly cos it means less space taken up to do the puzzle.
A beautiful image and another successful Japanese puzzle...

Cute Cupcakes
Brand: Puzzlebug
Pieces: 100
Size: 22cm x 28cm
Product Code: -
I feel like today is a cupcakes kind of day.
Who doesn't love pretty-looking baked goods?
The above image is just a cheap brand from Kmart but they always have interesting designs which are alright for the quality and price.
This is one of my last few days off left before I head back to work full time following the Corona-virus pandemic so I'll be more than happy to sit and eat a few of these before heading back. I'm sure I'll be able to drop the weight from consuming so much extra food while I'm there and walking around all day!
I'm actually quite surprised that my long stint of less work is almost over and yet I didn't get that much extra puzzling done during this time. I definitely had plenty of puzzles to work on- enough for a few lifetimes at least!- but I just never got around to doing much.
Maybe cos I was focusing on other projects? Or on social media too much? Or cos I ran out of boards to do them on for a short while? Who knows?! I definitely have a few sitting around that I need to photograph though so I can get onto that when the light is good and then find somewhere to get them developed for my album.
In the meantime, enjoy the cute cupcakes above (or a real alternative if you're able)

Jenny Sanders: Green Clubsport At Huskisson Hotel
Brand: Blue Opal
Pieces: 1000
Size: 70cm x 50cm
Product Code: BL02034
I was trying to decide which puzzle to put up today and thought 'Hmm.... it's been a while since I put up a car one' so here we are!
I guess it's sort of relevant- my husband has recently become interested in classic cars and would like to some day purchase one to do up. Luckily he has a few friends who love that sort of thing- including one who is absolutely obsessed and owns about 10 cars that he has bought and fixed up over the years. His collection, and his enthusiasm, make him the perfect person to help in the car hunt. I think he's more excited about the whole thing than hubby!
While the car in this puzzle can't really be considered a classic, it is still a quite iconic Australian car, as most of Jenny Sanders' illustrated cars are. This was a beautiful quality puzzle as always and just one more from the vast collection I have of her work. Maybe the next car one I do can be a classic one, just for the boys :)

Tokyo Disney Resort 35 Happiest Celebration
Brand: Tenyo
Pieces: 1000
Size: 51cm x 73.5cm
Product Code: 18022
Today I want to share with you the most amazing puzzle and one that I will always keep :)
Two years ago, around this time, my husband and I were on a holiday in Japan (our second time in the country) and, since we hadn't visited Disneyland the previous time, decided to go there to see what it was like. It just so happened to be their 35th birthday celebrations that year (and at the same time, I was turning 31).
While looking around one of their numerous gift shops I discovered this awesome holographic jigsaw puzzle, exclusive to the Disneyland Resort, that celebrated their birthday and which I just HAD TO HAVE!
Needless to say, it became my birthday present, and one that I will never sell. Despite already owning hundreds of puzzles, my hubby gave in and bought me this one. (No doubt cos he knew I'd buy it for myself if he didn't- the fact that he bought it for me made it more special)
So I ended up getting this beautiful puzzle :)
Tenyo is such a high quality brand and they always have amazing designs so I was already onto a winner, plus, like I said, it's holographic so it has a metallic multi-coloured sheen to make it even more different. This is one I doubt I'll ever find anywhere else so I'm so glad I found it while I was there and was able to bring back such good memories with it.

Star Wars: Darth Vader
Brand: Buffalo
Pieces: 300
Size: 54cm x 38cm
Product Code: 2801
For once I'm relatively organised when it comes to posting for an 'event'!
In two days it will be May 4th (Star Wars Day for all you non-geeks out there) and so, in anticipation (and because I only post here and on Instagram on Saturdays) I I have decided to put up a puzzle of Darth Vader that I absolutely love. The colours and the design are incredible and it's a perfect pairing with the Yoda puzzle (also by Buffalo) that I have put up previously. Illustrated designs like these really appeal to me and I wish that I could draw or create nearly as well.
The above puzzle had relatively large and thick cardboard pieces and took a bit longer to do than I anticipated, due to the similar colours. But you have to admit that the end result is pretty spectacular.
I have a few more Buffalo branded puzzles to do in the future- Star Wars with a Christmas theme- and I can't wait to showcase those when we get closer to December.
Until then, May the Fourth be with you! ;)
