Cleopatra

Brand: Bluebird

Pieces: 1000
Size: 68cm x 48cm

Product Code: -

It's the Queen's Birthday long weekend and I'm so excited for the public holiday! Unfortunately, I only have one puzzle of Queen Elizabeth (which I haven't yet done), so I can't put that up. But in the spirit of Queens, I have decided to instead put up a picture of a puzzle I did featuring the infamous Egyptian queen, Cleopatra!

This puzzle was from Bluebird and is one of several from a series which features famous names in Egyptian history. I loved the quality and design of this puzzle, although I haven't yet gotten around to doing the others that I have. I might have to unearth them from my collection and get them completed soon.

Cleopatra

Brand: Deico Games (D-Toys)

Pieces: 1000
Size: 68cm x 47cm

Product Code: 254-DG 2020

How beautiful is the artwork on this puzzle?! When I first saw it on an online store overseas, I was immediately drawn to the image- it's so pretty! As you are probably aware by now, I love beautiful illustrations and this puzzle was no exception. I hadn't even done the brand before but was willing to take a risk by buying this (and several others) simply because I loved the image so much. Have you ever done that?

Luckily the quality of the puzzle was just as good as the artwork, with pieces that fit in well together and vibrant colours. From memory, I don't remember there being much (if any) puzzle dust- yet another win!

Can't wait to start another one!

Queen Of Jade: Art by Nene Thomas

Brand: Sunsout
Pieces: 1000
Size: 48.26cm x 76.2cm
Product Code: 67683

I love the fantasy artworks of Nene Thomas- she is such a talented woman! Luckily, some of her designs are available as puzzles through Sunsout, which means that I am able to buy, piece together and enjoy her beautiful artwork!

I decided to put up the above puzzle because it has an Asian theme- which is quite relevant considering I will be heading off on a weeklong holiday to Japan in a few days! Because of my trip, I won't be able to post up a puzzle next week (for the first Saturday in who knows how long!), but I'll be sure to put one up when I get back after the following Monday. In the meantime, you can admire this beautiful design of the Queen of Jade...

As always, the quality of the puzzle was exceptional. This puzzle took me a little longer to do than expected, because of all the similar colours and the flowers (which were plentiful) but I think the end result makes it worth it! I have a few more puzzles in a similar style to this (also designed by Thomas) and I can't wait to do them.

I need to go organise my packing for my trip now so sayonara until next time.

Hopefully I might be able to pick up a few puzzle purchases (from Japan) for my collection...
