Thumper Mini Puzzle (Disney's Bambi)

Brand: Paladone Products

Pieces: 100
Size:  18cm x 22cm

Product Code: -

Well, as per usual, I have struggled to find a suitable puzzle image for my Easter post. Even though I thought I had some bunny, chocolate and easter egg-themed  designs in my collection, I wasn't able to find and complete them in time for today's post. Maybe I need to search today, do them, and then have them on standby waiting for next year!

I was, however, able to find a photo of a mini puzzle that I completed a while ago of Bambi's little rabbit buddy Thumper, which I suppose will have to do for the Easter theme this time round.

I picked up this shaped puzzle through Australia Post and it was relatively quick to do but the pieces were a little loose when the puzzle was put together. So it was enjoyable enough but not as good as it could have been.

Have you ever purchased a puzzle only to be disappointed by the less-than-stellar quality of the pieces?

Tell me your thoughts on this!

Until next time, have a safe and happy Easter and enjoy all the chocolate! xo

Noongar Six Seasons Collage

Brand: Mr Bob Puzzles

Pieces: 40
Size: 16cm x 10cm

Product Code: -

Two days ago we had the public holiday for Australia Day (also known as Invasion Day and Survival Day). Whatever you call it, there is a lot of tension surrounding the date of January 26 nowadays.

I want to keep this page as politically neutral as possible, so I'm not going to give my thoughts on the matter. The main point of this blog is jigsaw puzzles- so that's how it will stay!

Today's puzzle is a small wooden one from Australian company Mr Bob Puzzles, designed by Kevin Bynder. This one was part of their first mini series, but is available to purchase in a larger piece count, if you so prefer. You are also able to buy each of the six seasons (separated by colour) individually. This one was a cute little snack puzzle, which still featured a few of Mr Bob's signature whimsy pieces.

Also, Happy National Puzzle Day (for tomorrow)! I hope you enjoy piecing together some of the beauties in your collection!

Wind And Rain Depend on Each Other

Brand: Toy Town Mini Puzzles (Test Tube Puzzle)

Pieces: 150
Size: 10cm x 15cm

Product Code: -

OK, so I honestly don't know what this puzzle is called.

I'm pretty sure it's a reproduction of a famous painting by Leonid Afremov, but my Google translate app gave the above title when I scanned it in. I have done a few of these test tube puzzles and the Chinese titles are always a little iffy (I guess because they are usually breaching copyright to produce the images).

Regardless, they are great little puzzles for on the go, and the above one seems quite appropriate this week considering the amount of rain that Victoria was subjected to. A lot of regional areas have experienced flash flooding during the last few days and as this was one of the few puzzles I had featuring a rainy scene, I decided to put it up (despite it's dubious title).

The quality was quite good for the price - I think I bought this one from Wish- but, like I mentioned, it is a knockoff design from a proper artist and I feel that there's been a copyright breach in the production of it. I have a few of these mini puzzles which I aim to get through quite soon however...
